Creating art is a journey of expression, learning, experimentation, and courage.

Art, has been the driving force throughout my life. I remember creating the projects for my fellow elementary school class mates,
my first commission watercolor painting in seventh grade, taking every possible art class in high school and my first art show before graduating.

In college, my attention turned to commercial arts, illustration, technical illustration, graphic design and production.

There are so many painting and drawing medium to work with. I have painted in oils, acrylic, watercolors and gauche, and worked with graphite, and pen & inks.

During the last several years I have been painting Colorado urban and architectural scenes. My most recent works have been of the Colorado mountains and experimenting by painting en plein aire.

Creating is fun and rewarding and when I think I should give up on a piece I just push through and finish. And, no not every piece works.
